Prem-i-air, a well established company in the UK has introduced a new model PMW-18 Wall/Window Air Conditioner which is a compact designed and ideal for conservatories, as it consists of all in one compact system.
The cooling and heating capacity of the air conditioner is 18000 BTU per hour. It has got the sliding chassis that helps in easy installation of the equipment. This air conditioner has the feature to intake the fresh air in. It is provided with remote control with timer setting.
It comes with motorized louvers which mean each of a set of slating slats fixed at intervals to allow air or light through. It consists of a washable antibacterial filter; it helps the product to filter the bacteria from the room and gives a hygienic air in the room.
PMW-18 Wall/Window Air Conditioner can be operated even at low temperature such as -6 degree Celsius. The cooling capacity of the air conditioner is 18000 BTU per hour (BTU stands for British Thermal Unit). Its heating capacity is also 18000 BTU per hour. The product is provided with thermostatic control function. It has got three control panels as fan speeds.
The air conditioner can be left running for whole 24 hours per day. It has a dehumidifying function which collects water from the moisturized air, which can extract maximum 39 litres per day. It has come with internal oscillating louvers feature. The air conditioner has refrigerant feature which makes the unit to pump heat from the interior room the outside. The refrigerant used in the unit is R407C type.
The cooling feature of the PMW-18 Wall/Window Air Conditioner has been grade E class energy rating. The power consumption of the air conditioner requires the power supply of 1920 watts unit of the electricity. The product has come with heating facility with the energy rating which belongs to D class. The power consumption of the heating feature in the air conditioner requires the power supply of 1700 watts unit of the electricity.
